App-specific privacy policy
TaskHalo privacy policy
TaskHalo stores your tasks on your device, without an account, analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services. Device backups and information you choose to email for support are described below.
Effective date: 2026-11-01
1. Information stored on your device
TaskHalo stores the following in the app's private storage on your device:
- Tasks you create: titles, notes, scheduled dates and times, and completion status
- Templates you create
- Your planning streak history
- App preferences, such as reminder times
2. What the app sends to the developer
TaskHalo does not automatically transmit your tasks, notes, templates, planning history or preferences to Amine Jouhri. The app has no user accounts and does not include analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services. The developer does not sell this information.
This describes the app's own behavior. Your device's backup service operates separately, and if you choose to email for support, the information in that message is processed as explained below.
3. Notifications
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled locally by your device's operating system. You can turn them off in TaskHalo's settings or in your device settings at any time.
4. Backups
Your device's own backup service (for example Google or iCloud backup) may include TaskHalo's data, depending on your device settings, and can restore it when you reinstall the app or set up a new device. Those backups are stored and managed by your backup provider under their terms; the developer has no access to them.
Depending on the platform and your settings, app data may also be included in a computer backup or transferred directly to a new device. The developer cannot access these copies. Manage them through the relevant device, computer or backup service.
5. Deleting your data
You can delete individual tasks and templates in the app. Uninstalling TaskHalo, or clearing its storage in your device settings, removes its data from the device. A copy may remain in your device backups and be restored later; you can delete those backups in your Google or Apple account or device settings. The developer does not receive a copy of your task database. Information you choose to include in a support email is handled separately.
Copies made before you delete information can remain in older backups until those backups are replaced or deleted.
6. Children
TaskHalo is a general productivity app and is not directed at children. The app does not automatically send personal information to the developer.
7. Changes to this policy
Updates to this policy will be published on this page with a new effective date. The privacy text in the app will be kept consistent with the applicable app version.
8. Support correspondence
If you choose to email support, Amine Jouhri receives your email address, any name you provide, your message, attachments and technical information you include. These are used to respond to your request and investigate the reported problem. The app does not automatically attach your task database.
Hostinger provides the email service and processes messages and delivery information, such as sender, recipient, timestamps and delivery status. Hostinger and its service providers may process this information outside your country under their applicable terms.
Support correspondence is kept only while needed to handle the request, related troubleshooting, disputes or applicable legal obligations. You can contact support to request access, correction or deletion of correspondence; applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law. Hostinger separately manages service logs under its own operational and legal requirements.
9. Data handling and your choices
Tasks are stored in the app's private device storage. Access also depends on your device's security and backup settings. Protect your device with a screen lock and do not include passwords, verification codes or unnecessary private task content in support messages or screenshots.
Support email is accessed through a mailbox protected by two-factor authentication. Email is not a private task-storage service; please send only the information needed to explain your request.
Opening the support or policy website uses your browser and is subject to the separate website privacy notice at https://aminejouhri.com/privacy/.
